They Ventura County Sheriff's Upper Ojai Search and Rescue team uses these pages to observe the current weather conditions in the county. When severe weather or a wildland fire occurs we begin to collect data and prepare to mobilize. We typically operation from a mobile command post with internet connectivity or from personal devices like Trios and Blackberries. So we can quickly access pertinent information that is provided from other web pages, we have compiled these weather pages on our site. All of the materials on these weather pages are from the National Weather Service and the Ventura County Water Shed Protection District but organized for our use.
